Vitatex at ASCO 2017

Posted by Che Chen on

Two abstracts featuring Vitatex technology will be presented as part of this year's ASCO conference in Chicago. Our collaborators at the Morehouse School of Medicine Atlanta, GA, Tyme Inc, the Florida Cancer Institute in Hudson, FL, SUNY Stonybrook and the Tisch Cancer Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY have been using Vitatex's CTC (circulating tumor cell) detection technology in their development studies for new drug, SM88. "A Phase Ib/II, Open-label, Dose Excalation Study to Evaluate the Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Efficacy of SM88 in Patients with Prostate Cancer" (G. Del Priore, S. Hoffman, D.W. Nixon) will be presented in the ASCO Poster Session on the morning of Monday, June 5th, while a second paper, "SM88 in Non-Metastatic Rising PSA-Recurrent Prostate Cancer", detailing biomarker activities, including CTCs, after completion of the phase Ib dose escalating pharmacokinetic portion of the SM88 drug development plan, is available on the ASCO website.
