Diagnostic Applications
Prognosis of Aggressive Cancers
Better Prognostic Information
CAM-captured iCTCs can be sorted and counted by widely available automated flow cytometry to provide an early indication of metastasis in pre-operative patients. This greatly improved prognostic information can help the physician decide on aggressive chemotherapy or other options more rapidly and confidently. Applied DNA technology enables enrichment of far larger numbers of iCTCs than the competitive CTC method on the market for this indication resulting in a more sensitive, robust assay that is directly linked to metastasis, even in early stages of cancers by standard diagnosis.
iCTC Assay:
Sensitive detection of iCTCs in all stages of ovarian cancer.
- Applicable in patients of all stages, including pre-surgical diagnosis.
