"Detection and Genomic Interrogation of Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) and Circulating Tumor Stem Cells (CTSCs) from Men with Metastatic Castration-resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC)". Terence Friedlander, Pamela Paris and colleagues from UCSF, working with Vitatex and SUNY Stonybrook, employed the Vitatex platform to capture CTCs and CSTCs to compare yields between CAM-based isolation and the CellSearch method, to determine the utility of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) as a mCRPC CTC biomarker, to identify CTSCs and CTC clusters, and to confirm feasibility of epigenomic analysis of CAM-isolated CTCs.
