Vitatex is awarded its year-4 Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grant from the NCI (grant #R44CA140047; title: Cancer progenitor cell markers). The goals of this proposal are to discover cancer progenitor cell markers for improved detection of circulating tumor cells in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, and to evaluate the potential role of CTCs in ovarian tumor peritoneal metastasis.
